![]() ![]() ![]() Having had such a great experience at the Yotel in London Gatwick airport, I was pleased to learn there were sleep pods/capsules in the Mexico City airport. My flights had very long layovers on Mexico City. You can hear sounds from every direction every time. Inside the capsule all the controls remain lit so there are blue and red lights on the entire time, even when you turn the main lights off. And now the cons: the mattress and small pillow are very thin and stiff, you get a blanket but no sheet, which you dont need anyway because the temperature remains a bit warm - you can control the air but it never really cools there was a TV with very limited channels that you need to plug in your own earphones into, however, the sound was almost inaudible and I was told nothing could be done about it. There is also a mini safe that you can lock with your own combination. Inside the capsule there is a USB port and an electrical outlet, and the door locks so there is complete privacyĪnd security. ![]() Everything is very clean and there is staff readily available to assist. I will start with the pros: the price is very reasonable, check in was very easy and quick, you get a locker for your suitcase and personal belongings, a towel, blanket, slipper socks, and there are shared showers and bathroom facilities. ![]()
